found my exhaust was missing one of its expensive blue rubber isolators :(

if you happen to see it on the road, I'd like it back please

Kinja'd!!!

so took things out, and you get pictures, exhausts on my car, a history:

First: stock, which after I bought the car in New York and had it shipped to Colorado with the car sitting over the truck's cab facing backwards had to be replaced as it was full of everything. Was like a salt shaker once upended off the car

Kinja'd!!!

Second: after swapping the engine from this wreck which came with some HKS exhaust I modified the stock axle back to fit to the much larger HKS cat back as the cat is under the car on the B-series and on the headers in the now gone D-series engine

Kinja'd!!!

Third: insufficiently ricey, I swapped in a full cat back Buddy Club Spec 2, with new 4 into 1 header and free flowing cat. It's glorious, and I adore every second at every RPM range with this obnoxiousness fitted (video, not me, but very similar setup)

Kinja'd!!!

Fourth: turns out, although they let it pass, the emissions guys didn't like how loud it was, so picked up some random axle back and modified it to slot into the Buddy Club cat back. Buddy Club left, rando right

Kinja'd!!!

Well, I sold the random, I sold the HKS, and for the most part I pass roadside emissions tests now, but I still wanted an option for quieter running, should for example I need to chauffeur the wife around this past weekend and have her not hate me and my toy. Enter last night's project, modifying the stock muffler to slip into the Buddy Club system. Got it fitted up and the car was SOOOO quiet... I kind hate it :P

Kinja'd!!!

anyway, quiet muffler is on for a few days while I polish the Buddy Club part, it's looking pretty haggard.
