That's not an Alfa. It's 70-80% of an Alfa. Where is the rest?

4x100? I've seen a few of these at the junkyard, and I'm tempted to grab the wheels off of one for my Escort, just because.

I'm pretty sure your car had a bit part in the Pixar "Cars" movie in the sponsor tent.. It's character's name was "Rusty Rockers."

well lets see
the hardtop is sitting in the garage
the softtop frame is outside the garage being weather tested and waiting for its next sanding and priming
the rest has been recycled into the ground

So you are planning on restoring it, good to hear! What's your plan for the sills? And how bad is it underneath? Bondo won't do it this time.

pretty much i'm just trying to use metal wherever i can although i'll probably use bondo just to make everything better cosmetically
mechanically its really sound it could use a new exhaust system and new bushings and mounts here and there
underneath as far as i know there's no structural rust because one of PO's undercoated it really good
really all that needs to be done is bodywork and a new paintjob and i'll be satisfied with how it looks

Can you weld? If so can you teach me? I'd really like to learn!
Otherwise I don't see this car getting roadworthy again. And I'm sorry to be such a sourpuss, I'm just worried that you might have bitten off more than you can chew. That's all! I wouldn't want to see a fellow opponaut pour money into a bottomless pit. No criticism intended.
If you have the means and the money to restore it back to beauty, I would love to see you do it.

yeah i can weld, not the best but i can stick things together lol
also that's a great idea i should do a oppo lesson on mig welding because it can be extremely simple

You will need to do A LOT OF WELDING to save this one. A build thread of some sorts would be really interesting! I'd love to see that!
Are you planing on doing some structural bracing before you start to cut out the rot?

probably although depending on how i decide to do the bodywork i may not need to reinforce it too much
