Gawker headline: "LOL CLICKS HERE PLZ"
Actual content: "The men, particularly those with lifting experience, moved their joints almost in unison, which is safer for the back."
NO EFFIN WAY, LIFTING EXPERIENCE TEACHES YOU HOW TO LIFT THINGS SAFELY??
I better tone down my eyeroll before I hurt my back.

A better option would be to improve car control so you don't have to lift.

I'm doing eye curls right now. I figure if I stay in shape I won't sprain anything. Sprained oculars are bad, brah.

I've been thinking about writing a satirical Gawker post addressing stuff like this, but Jesus Diaz 's body of work already covers everything I can come up with.

Fucking crazy. So we can take any form of scientific study, throw on some inflammatory wording and get clicks? Is that it?
I cannot seem to find the purpose of said study. Unlike some of the Gawker folk I find it hard to believe that a research company would get funding for a project if the sole purpose was to burn on the female gender.
If this study was, say, commissioned so that medical professionals and insurance companies could provide women with better medical treatment or to provide OSHA with rules better tailored for females then that's a good thing to me.
But none of that is discussed.

BUT AREN'T YOU MOVED TO INCITE SOCIAL CHANGE?

No, I'd rather just bicker like an uninformed child and hide behind a screen.
