I heard this stuff is the best way to eat away at rust. Like the holy grail of penetrating oil. But I have also heard it's very hard to find in local stories. What do you guys think is it worth the extra money for those pesky spark plugs in the Lincoln? Or should I just go straight to the air ratchet and perhaps a torch?

1/2" drive ratchet with a long extension and a 6 pt socket. At minimum use PB blaster, not WD. An air ratchet will probably not have enough torque.

super expensive but worth it. Dont use an air ratchet, you need to feel what is going on there. I would soak em with kroil, and see if you can tap on the metal sides of the plugs with a hammer and drift to get that stuff worked in there. Heat it if you can also and use an 18 inch breaker bar, work it back and forth

Aero-kroil is awesome and works very well. A cheaper, more widely available, but not quite as good is PB blaster.

No air ratchet. Heat the head around the plug, not the plug itself.

Is there a chance it would overheat the gaskets or anything like that and damage them?

Snap-On's is 5-70 lb-ft for their "Super Duty". If you can do lug nuts by hand you are already stronger than it is.

Before you order poke around Eastwood's site a little. They have a LOT of tools you will probably end up needing.

Napa stocks it. Screw Wal Mart and Advance. So sick of dealing with people that know nothing about cars be nothing but a goddamn cashier instead of a parts guy

Only if you heat them red hot. But that is way hotter than you need. If you can't touch it its probably too hot.

Around here (Washington) PB Blaster is available at all the local Oreilly(Schucks),NAPA, Advanced Auto. I would just buy a case of Aero Kroil or PB Blaster on Amazon and be set for years.

Not that rare. I have a case of it on my shelf (I'm a distributor for Aero-Kroil). Check to see if there is a Motion Industries in your town they have lots of stock in their warehouse in Alabama and can probably get it for you in a few days.

Kroil is the greatest stuff on the planet, as others can attest. You'll pry my Kroil out of my cold, dead hands.

Kroil is amazing. Aero-Kroil and Mouse Milk are the only penetrating oils I keep around my shop any more.
It does burn pretty well, so be careful if you soak it before you torch it.

Never heard of mouse milk but it sounds like I need to buy Kroil. Has it just always been effective is that why you like it so much?

Yes, I've used a variety of penetrating oils, and I found that with most of them, I couldn't tell a difference between when I used it and when I didn't. One of the shops I worked at used Kroil and right away I was pretty impressed with it.
Of course, no penetrating oil is going to be as good as if the threads had been anti-seized before installation, but Kroil is the only one that I can consistently tell a difference between dry and Kroiled.
