There's this one owner 1985 Honda Jazz (Honda City), that's both very clean and very cheap (less than a grand). Very low mileage too. It's got a valid German inspection, so it hasn't been sitting for long. I have no idea what to do with it, but I'm somehow drawn to this oddball. What's your opinion about this car?
I could ship it to the US, but I really don't know if there's any demand. And no, it doesn't come with a scooter.

Hell yeah. I love oddball little Japanese cars. It'd be a perfect car for someone who commutes long distances.

It won't be doing much automagically though, Wikipedia tells me it's a two speed+overdrive.

I think these are awesome little Kei cars. They are cheap, small and light (important in the NL)
I would like a Jazz someday. And then turn it into a turbo go-cart at some point.
Here iss one for sale in NL. Not as good, but at least not an automatic. It has been for sale a long time too.

Actually to me that makes it all the more unusual given the car class, location (D), and age.

It's probably the cause for its survival though. This was probably bought by a 60 year old without much need for a car, who then kept it for 30 years until he/she died. Garage parked probably. Most Hondas from the 80s became rusty hulks around here a very long time ago.

Yeah that sounds like an accurate analysis
