My dad has a 2010 CC AWD VR6 with 25,000mi. It's not a bad car... Just not my style. For a family sedan it has good acceleration (better than my TA and mothers Volvo) and is relatively nice inside. It will cruise all day long at 80mph. I'm not a fan of the exterior looks at all, it looks like a boring whale also the car to me feels huge to drive. Also somewhere towards the rear of the car is an annoying squeak that we can't find.

Another pro: pretty luxurious

Repairs aren't that bad. My friend DD's one, Manual. He's on coilovers so it's no slouch in the corners. Aftermarket is pretty big.

From what I've read, the vr6 feels like a big ol boat, while the 2.0 feels much sportier. Also awd can't help with the weight...

Well, the whole car is huge for the small space inside. Oh and the rear seats really suck to get out of.

Lol ok. I think I'll just stick with getting a Sky

probably the prettiest VW that VW has turned out in a while...kinda like driving any other its like driving a Passat with a lower roof and slightly comfier backseat. Driving one my first impressions were I could definitely be driven home from bars in this although a 7 series or Jaguar Vanden Plas is still at the top of that list

Why would you even think twice about getting a CC if a sky is your other option?! A sky turns heads and bleeds awesome, a generic VW doesn't.

Because, within my dad's parameters (price under 10 grand) they're hard to find. There are none within 400 miles. I'm talking Sky redline with a manual here

What about a Solstice GTP/GXP? Same basic car but built in more numbers. I've sat in a redline at an autoshow years ago... sooo goooood.

Still kinda hard to find but soooo ugly. I can't stand their looks. I drove a redline last week and mmf it was nice.

you CAN find these with AWD. I'm 90% sure you can get AWD with the 2.0L and a manual, so why not?

I've had my 2010 CC R-Line 2.0T for 2 years now. It is still my favorite car in the class. I love the engine, love the seats, hate the trunk. Can't imagine how much tuning it would take to make it handle anywhere near the realm of sporty though. I could see getting the 2.0T to absolutely sing, but to get it taking corners without wobbling around would be a challenge.
