better watch out taking pictures. I was on a cruise out of Groton once near Electric Boat. Some idiot lady didn't see (or didn't care about) the 20 foot sign that said "No Pictures" and took a flash shot. Coast Guard came and took her camera. Was going to take everyone's until the lady fessed up. Wasn't messing around

Nah, Ohios have fairwater planes and a turtle back. This looks like a 688i.

Good call on the fairwater planes, you're right, probably LA class.

I may or may not have taken a photo of EBC while on a recent deep sea fishing trip. Definitely didn't see any "no photos" signs.

I wonder if they lifted it, or what side of the bridge you were on. I think the no pictures sign is on the north side of the bridge...or they just gave up with the proliferation of digital cameras. OR they just know the Ruuskis have all of our tech anyhow. This was also 16 years ago as well. Went on a bluefishing trip, didn't take the bet on who catches the biggest fish, and landed a 4 foot sand shark

I was at the Nautilus museum and lots of people were. Electric boat might be stricter because they build them there. They wernt stopping anyone. There were sailors there and they didn't say a thing about pictures.

16 years ago? In that case yeah, with absolutely everyone having a camera in their pocket these days I'd wager they just gave up and took down the sign. I was on a blue/striped bass trip myself. Lousy day for the boat. 25-ish people, only about five keepers caught. Three of the four people in my group on the boat caught striped bass, myself included, but all three fish were 1-3 inches too short. Balls.

probably just gave up then for sure. I have never really had a bad day on one of those boats. Then again I am from the "Bluefish Capitol of the WOOOOOOOOOOrld" down the shoreline a bit, so maybe it is in my blood to catch blues

My grandfather was one of the engineers who helped create the Nautilus.
True fact.

My grandfather served out of there in the 70's so and I love submarines so I wanted to see the sub museum and the Nautilus. That just happened to be going by right as we were getting ready to leave.
