What a spectacular show this weekend! Though I will say that Katie's Cars and Coffee has really outgrown its space. By 7:30, not just the main lots, but the ENTIRE shopping center was filled, front and back. After that, people had to park at the Safeway across the street and walk over. This year has really seen C&C explode in popularity, and while that's a good thing, I do wonder what next year will bring. I'll have to start showing up at 5:30, I think.
But I digress. Here are some of the cool cars that showed up on Saturday.
For me, the highlight of the show was talking to the owner of the Diablo on the left, a 1997 VT roadster. He owns several Lambos, and his twin brother has a near-identical 1997 Diablo VT roadster in blue.

That truck on the first picture is one of the most weird contraptions I've ever seen.
By coincidence I've just seen a 280SE exactly like image 2.

The truck is a 1948 GMC COE. I'd never seen anything like it.

Looks like it's on a late model chassis though. Those trucks are cool as hell.

Came here expecting Buick Reatta. Leaving disappointed.
You have a point about getting there early. I even thought about hitting up the Irish pub the night before and just crashing in the van once.

If anyone is prepared to do something like that, it's the guy in the Vanagon.
It's not a bad idea. Cars and Coffee pajama parties could become a thing. Sexy pillow-fights will ensue.

1980 HMV Freeway. H-M vehicles of Minneapolis built about 700 of these single-occupant vehicles from 1980 to 1982.

Yeah, it has been really busy recently. Whenever I go, I'm always in the Safeway lot. My A4 doesn't have the coolness to be in the main lot :)
