Can we please get the next generation Cruze as a hatchback in the USA.

Then, once it's over here, throw in the 2.0T from the Malibu and a 6-speed to make an ST fighting Cruze SS or Z-Spec or whatever you want to call it.

I actually dont like that rear end, at all. The entire rear third of it just looks awkward.

Meh no one buys them over here. I've only seen one on the road and they've been on sale for years. The Focus is usually better regarded, even the Hyundai and Kias that size sell considerably better.

Let's make this hatchback really ugly, and take away a good bit of space while we're at it. But make sure it's not a sedan so we have an excuse not to sell it in America.

I too wish they would bring it over, as a two and four door. Hopefully available with Euro market goodies from Vauxhaul and whatnot.

Yeah but I don't think the Astra sells as well as the Focus so either way the Cruze would have a lot of competition. Most people dont know both cars are GM anyway.

You're right that the Chevy badge affects it a little though as everyone still remembers the whole badging shite Daewoos as Chevys debacle from a few years back.

I don't really think the Astra is a good car either, I don't like any of the Vauxhall Opel range at the moment.

The only lineup that would really fall into with the styling it has would be Buick's. Then it would be stupidly expensive because it's a Buick.

If Saturn was still around we'd have that over here.

Shame because it's quite a nice car. I only hate the 'E brake' (I hate all E brakes), give me a proper hand brake lever any day.
