I came up with a few things link an old Scout or C10 and now I want to know what others would put a (theoretical) $500 6.0 in?

I had big dreams of stuffing one in my FJZ80 when I had it. Would be awesome in a 4runner too.

Nice Z. I had a 91 when I was 17 which is up there on the worst cars to let a 17 yo drive.

Why? The Vortec motors seem to hold up pretty well.

The early 6000 was not as good an engine as other Vortec offerings of the time. It had good numbers on paper but never felt like it lived up to those specs. The 5300 was a stronger motor overall.

I have a 92 when I'm 16 :). Surprisingly, I've only been pulled over driving a forester....

Haha, good luck. Hopefully you are smarter than I was (which wouldn't be hard honestly)

With a different cam and LS2 heads, it would be a fun little toy since it weighs under 4k.
