I found this conversion as I was stumbling home from the bar last night. I thought it was just a landau roof and almost missed the ribbing under the canvas. But there it is, a four door AmeriCAN convertible. It looks pretty well done - do these outfitters strengthen the frame too? Or is this going to twist into a pretzel in a few years?

I have a strange fascination with four door convertibles. For some reason I just find them to be the best body style ever made for any car

I am just not sure why I like them more than 2 doors but I do. Maybe it is because I think back to dual cowl phaetons and it makes me think 4 door convertibles are more grand?
