Kinja'd!!!

I've got a couple of bikes to sell, and I want to put them on Craigs List. Raleigh 16", sturdy training wheels, coaster brake, aftermarket kickstand included. Tires good, very little rust, chain good. Bike shop guy said they're probably worth $75 apiece, they list for twice that new. If I want to get $75, do I ask high and haggle down, or set a price and say it's fixed? Anybody in Austin want to buy some good kids' bikes before I post them?

You should put it up for like 95 or 90 in my opinion. I posted my monitor for sale on Craigslist earlier this month for $15 more than what I was looking for and after haggling I got exactly what I wanted.

PS9s guide for selling stuff on craigslist.

Step 1: Don't.

Wish I could be more helpful than that, but craigslist is frikkin terrible.

I always recommend going a little higher than what you want! Because if you list at what you want, someone will still haggle you down.

Go like $10-15 high and someone wll haggle down to exactly what you want. They feel like they got a good deal. You know you got a good deal.

Oooh. THIS.

I just helped me friend arrange a PS3 purchase from Craigslist and when we got there I was like, I feel obligated to lowball him even after we agreed on a price because this is Craigslist.
