I love this thing. A V6 Turbo wagon Saab!? Sounds amazing! But no chance in hell at $11,500. Especially when every other Saab on Craigslist is going for less than $5,000! Drop to $4500 and we will talk

Aero SportCombi... I'm actually going to go with NP here.

Honestly, how the hell do you afford to drive that thing!? Like it seems to be cheaper for you to get something new just because of what you'd save on gas!

Now the standard is 38!!

And how many cars really get that number though? Our Prius only gets like 42 when it's rated at 48. Yes, my family has a Prius.

My mom and dad buy my gas because I'm constantly running around for them. I used a quarter of a tank driving my brother back and forth from band this week.

Price is more than fair, given what Saab Wagons of that vintage go for. They are neither cheap nor common. NINE for sale nationwide on Autotrader.

Damn right, I saw one that was a convertible, manual, V6 turbo, in lovely blue with cream interior...for 6k. Wanted it soooooooo bad.

6.6 isn't that badddddd............shit I at least average 12. Granted, that is a lot of highways and I have averaged 2 on a tank before.

Hey ive got a 2013 Civic rated at 28 city 39 highway. I'm averaging 24.6. I've never broken 32 and that was after driving all highway on that tank and resetting everything.

I think you need to get that van looked at...I get 10mpg out of a 1989 460 big block 4 door Bronco...
That rate of fuel consumption on that van indicates a serious problem.

I think we've hit 31 as the highest on our Impreza. Usually stays around 29.

Seriously? I DD my dad's 2nd gen Prius (45 mile commute each way) and usually average about 52. Even with mostly city driving we get around 50.
![]() 07/26/2014 at 10:16 |

Yeah, ours doesn't. I think its about the same distance but it only gets 42-46 usually. Maybe more now as I haven't looked at in a while but those are the numbers I remember.

Interesting. What model/generation is yours? I think my sister gets slightly better gas mileage in hers, but the difference could probably be chalked up to driving style.
Note: My family has a lot of Prii. My dad got his after my sister got hers. I wouldn't normally condone this sort of behavior, but it'll save me about $500 on gas this summer, has cushy seats and means I can save up my money to buy something significantly more fun, current guess is Fiesta ST, in a few years.

It's a 2007 so right at the end of the second generation I think.

This much might make sense for the turbo v6 awd manual. For the fwd auto? NO

I agree even a fully loaded semi truck gets about 8. Mind you that's with diesel. But still.
