Spotted a Mercedes-Benz GLA-45 AMG in Hermosa Beach yesterday. Sort of looks like a Toyota Venza on steroids. Sorry for the iPotato pics.

Look at that wing!! The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! arrive at dealerships in fall of this year, but somebody with Florida plates has been parking one about 10 feet from the sand in Hermosa.

FYI: Plates starting in A0(x) are Mercedes' manufacturer. Probably imported through the Brunswick VPC and registered with the southern regional office/QEC in FL. That wing looks horrible though.

Here comes the Mercedes STi hatch, maybe they ate targeting the original Evo/WRX buyers who are not 10+ years older and ready for a step up in price bracket but not in maturity (which is overrated anyway).

There is a local branch of MB R&D USA in Long Beach , so it is probably an employee at the tech center. I see a few unmarked MBs traveling in convoys along the 405, but they usually have CA or MI manufacturer plates on them, never seen a FL plate before.

And who don't care about driving a manual, because Mercedes has forsaken the third petal.

They'd be at the age when they want less work, that and the clutch and ride in the WRX/Evo already crippled them.

The mind is willing but the body is soft and broken.

The only ones in the country right now out on the streets, to the best of my knowledge, are for personnel training and promotions. They're not even sold to employees or used as demos yet unless it's for a specific purpose. Basically every district has a trainer that will take new AMG models around to dealers for product training. My guy does the whole west coast in as far as Nevada I think and will be at my store to do a class middle of August. So I wouldn't be surprised if this is the same car that I will be trained on.

As with most AMG products, I'm not sure I'd ever buy it, but I appreciate the hell out of it! AMG all the things!

Not a modern Benz fan, but this actually looks pretty good. Bring on more hatches! It goes a long way to make up for the CLA.
