So I'm well aware that the proper pronunciation of Porsche is "Porsh-uh". I'll probably never get that ingrained in my head enough to start calling it that though.
So now you may be asking yourself "Why is he talking about Porsche and then showing a picture of a Vauxhall?". Well, here it is: how the hell do you pronounce Vauxhall? I've always said it as Vo-haul but a buddy of mine basically said I went full retard and it's pronounce Vox-haul. So, which is it? Did I really go full retard? Is he an ass for trying to correct something that was correct? These are the questions that haunt me.

In my bit of the UK, it's definitely Vox-hall, like in the video. Or, alternately, 'shite'.

Huh. So Vox-holl is Vauxhall. Alrighty then.

I'm American, but I've always said it/heard it said Vox-ul or Vox-haul. Never Vo-haul.

Obviously, there are people who like them... I've just not the slightest clue as to why. Another commenter, duurtlang, put it best, I think, in describing them as 'Like Toyota, but without the reliability.' They're just utterly, utterly mediocre and boring, with absolutely no unique selling points.
The VX220 pictured is an exception, naturally, but like all good Vauxhalls/Opels I can think of, it's only good because it's essentially a rebadge of something else—in this case, a Lotus Elise.

While we're on the subject...
Lancia = Lan-chia, not Lanseeya
Gallardo = Gayardo, not gullardo
Dedouchebag = Duh-Dooshbag, not Dadooshbag

It's pronounced Oh-pul

I acknowledge your correct pronunciation and substitute my own, including "porsh".
Also I remember making fun of this kid in high school for calling it a gayardo instead of how it's read in English.

I pretty much go with, "Vawcksull", only because that's how it sounds when Clarkson says it.

I've always said Vaux-all.

Yep, vox-hall. Or you can slur the middle a bit and do a "vox-all".
And it's just shite because it's made by GM. Everyone knows GM makes shite.

Yep. Like with most Euro market cars, I pronounce Vauxhall however The Clarkson pronounces them.

Hey now, not a non-believer. I know the proper pronunciation of Porsche. Like I said, I just can't get it ingrained into my head.
