That would suck ass in the snow.

I've never seen an oil change as being a con. That takes around 20-30 minutes.

I saw one earlier located in Maybee. But I think that's an actual place.

Ha.
Ha.

My cousin's fuckin' PowerWheels would do better in the snow.

Much wow!
I told you you're famous
It's K Roll Thursday today!
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:50 |
|
Is an E30 that bad? Compared to other K-Roll picked cars?
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:51 |
|
Yeah most likely. It's still not a con, more a pro because I don't mind changing oil.
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:51 |

It's lowered. Anything lowered is gonna suck in snow.
BLAZER MAN, GET A BLAZER.
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:51 |

Ummm....Is that good?
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:52 |

Wait are you looking at this for a winter beater or project car?
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:53 |
|
YES
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:53 |
|
Oh! didn't see that. If it wasn't lowered?
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:54 |
|
Yes. Isn't the whole concept of a winter beater is a vehicle that cosmetically is meh, reliable so it won't get you stranded in the snow, has ground clearance to clear uneven snow, and be able to actually drive in the snow? This is a winter beater: http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/458598… . A rwd German car that you will get stranded or frozen alive in is not.

E30s are still pretty low to the ground, it would probably get stuck really easily.
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:54 |
|
Well I found this one and posted it because it was located in "Much Wow" I'm not actually looking at this particular car; but I don't see any problems with an E30.

Yay famousness!
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:56 |
|
Neither do I. I've done it with a friend and it was very straight forward and simple.
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:57 |
|
Can't be that much lower than my old Astra; it got stuck only once, in my driveway, never again.
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:58 |
|
Whoo hoo :D
![]() 07/25/2014 at 00:58 |
|
Oh it's real easy. I've never taken the plug off but I've poured it in. I know how to take the plug of though as I've done it on the transmission fluid in a Silverado.

Actually, here in Michigan, it's not Thursday anymore, it's...
![]() 07/25/2014 at 01:04 |
|
Oh okay. E30's are awesome track cars though! But I hope you know that they handle like shit in snow, rain, or on any wet surface because no traction control, open diff, etc. I know this because I almost died in one (some don't even have airbags). Actually any older RWD car would suck in snow unless you chain the tires because traction control systems really weren't that great before this century.
![]() 07/25/2014 at 01:04 |

No, unlike all these guys that want you to get a truck I'm gonna tell you that an E30 Xi is fantastic in the snow. Actually nearly unstoppable with snow tires.

Oh yeah!
Whoo hooo Friday on painkillers!

Yeah I just commented on that post. Not bad for the price, and you can clean it up and dump it when the winter is over. Just try to find a manual though, for obvious reasons :)

Yup. Source: Drove lowered car though 4 winters here in canada.
