...and it worked. We were on a road trip to Kings Dominion in VA, and my wife was doing hw on her laptop while I was driving (damn nursing school). At one point, we passed two Charter buses that were driving together, and I remembered an article I'd read on Lifehacker. I told her "Hey, cut your wi-fi on, I want to see if something works." (Wife cuts wi-fi on.) And there it is, wi-fi from the charter buses. After accepting their user agreement, free wi-fi on our trip. We only did this for about 5 minutes. a) I just wanted to see if it would work and b) the buses were going super slow.
But hey, if you desperately need wi-fi, look for a charter bus.
