Ok has anyone had these and what kind of luck did you have ?

They come in a 4x114.3 with all the negative offset I need for insane fender flares.

Any potential problems to be had with a wheel like this ?

Apart from the stupidious width, it's really not all that different from a trailer wheel. I can't imagine there'd be anything wrong with them - apart from the fact that there's no way a 10"+ tire will be in any way needed up front, and will be beating up on your steering setup quite a bit. If that's what you want in style, though, I can't blame you.

They are so awesome that I called them up to see if they made 18's for my c5z. Unfortunately not. And you know painting them black is a prerequisite.

Dude, ouch to your ball joints, bearings and steering rack. You sure the components can handle a 10" wide front?

I'll give you my old 14x6 chrome dishes with rubber on them.

I went ahead and check Diamond Racing Wheels for you the biggest they make is a 16" wheel. Sorry bud. I've never seen steelies on a Corvette and that would definitely be cool .

There are ALOT of 280z's running massive front wheels . I am worried no doubt but I'm just as worried about spending 400 bucks in MASSIVE FLARES and then not have enough wheel to fill the hole.

Well my other option would be a 8" wide wheel in the front . So 10" and fill out a BAMF flare or 8" and fill a ZG flare but then have to get the 4.5" flares for the back. Would bring a whole new meaning to DatASSun.

I'm going to probably have 7"front/8" rear on my project to keep it low-key. Also, because power or not, it doesn't weigh much. Also, because I may want to equip fender skirts. Like a so, + low.

I do recall that, but are you running stock LCAs and TC rod? You better start doing some arm strength training! Those are going to be heavy to turn at low speed.

EDIT:

BTW, check out this 240 I saw over the weekend! Original owner since 1973.

Ha, Yep. When you pick them up, they'll be lighter than you expect. Circletrack wheels can take a beating, so I think it will rock. Make sure to get pics. BTW, I had a '73 240 at age 16 and a '74 early 260 Z when 18-20 or so. It's the car that made me fall in love with cars.

Well if you ever plan on having another one . Now is the time to buy it . Actually a year ago was but if the datsun boom continues they will all be 10k for a good example soon.

I've thought about it, but don't have garage space at the moment and don't want to leave one exposed. A friend of mine has one garaged and I'll probably talk him out of it later when I'm ready.

Those look glorious. I want to put them on my front drive wheels, and put run-flat donuts on the back for ALL of the front-wheel-drive oversteer.
