Well I already knew that but I've been browsing CL for boats so I don't buy another car (no point in buying a boat when you live in the desert so window shopping cant hurt... RIGHT????)
Anyways, I stumbled across this "Bad Ass Boat" and loved the artwork so much I had to share with you all.

The poorest people are gearheads who also love boats and/or airplanes!

Dude I freakin love these.
There was a 1971 18' Sidewinder for sale on my CL for $600, but it was missing the original Olds motor. I had a 455 sitting in my garage, but unfortunately I didn't buy it.I really wish I did though.

Growing up I lived along a river in the town where a company call Outerlimits built these...
Well they used to make their test runs on that river, and I could hear them start up and taxi into the river for testing. I would run down to the shore, grab my kayak, and sit there and watch (and listen / feel) the awesomeness as they blasted up the river at 60+ mph.

That's awesome. I'd love to own a boat, but I fear that I would never get the chance to use it.
I hardly have enough time to go canoeing anymore.

I'm currently helping a friend rebuild a boat that he traded for a motorcycle. Turns out the wood underneath the floor had totally rotted out. Been an interesting project thus far.

Is that a bow rider? I don't think I've ever seen such a small little speed boat with a bow rider...that's cool

I love boats
love them
my wife leaned me towards classic car instead of boat because more opportunity to use.
I was probably gonna go with Jet Skis though.
was cruising on this a few weeks ago (2009 23ft Stingray with a 305 Chevy V8, this is a stock image from the site, not his boat)
This boat is a blast, cracks 60 mph no problem.

Methinks you underestimate the potential of a freakin' turbojet powered waterjet to convert rocks into sand....
