...I'm at work, on the bench (which means I have no current project), and was bored, so I decided to pick up a former personal project and try to create a website in java for a used car dealership, just to see if I can.
I'm not the best programmer, but I don't get better without practice right? Well I made a method that created a dynamic SQL query that takes some criteria, and pops out a car that meets the criteria.
Only, once I got this guy done....I realize it was searching for a specific year instead of a range...ugh...I shouldn't have to change too much, but since this whole thing is being made up on a whim, I'm ok with it. Hindsight is 50/50, or something...
How are you guy/gals doing today? Hopefully doing something more exciting than me.

So I didn't recognize the html tag, put it into google, and got this . Needless to say, I can see why it was deprecated, lol.

Boredom really. Plus I haven't touched java for a while at work, and I need to brush up. I'm using the java for the back-end really, the logic for searches. But I can't really make a website if I don't have sound logic behind it. For the site, I thinking of using jsp, struts/spring, html, or something of the like. This whole thing is for me to brush up on my neglected skill-set.

Well... I am training all 15 people at our company how to use our brand-new website, launching next week. At the same time, committing a bunch of code to fix things that are missing from the aforementioned new site...
Well, that's all the time I have for Oppo now! Back to work!
