My old seats were shot and tearing, and if it's worth doing, its worth overdoing. Found some Modena brown, mechanical Vaders (ultra super rare), picked them up, and am in the process of putting them in. Not as easy as originally expected, but worth. So comfy, and so snug.

It's not hard, it just doesn't bolt right in. Mine being a '98, they had already moved on to the electronic safety triggers. Whatever car the Vaders came from was an older model, so we had to first figure out which wires underneath were for what. Once we got that figured out, we realized the auto-tensioner in the seatbelt my car has was also made electronic, while the old one was mechanical and piston-driven. So we ripped the belt buckle mechanism off the old seat along with its wiring, plugged that into the Vaders, put them back in, and it worked (for now). Basically a lot of trial and error with the first, while the second should be a lot quicker.

I wish I could find a way to make these fit in my E90. Love these seats.

I will admit that this wasn't what I was expecting. I will also admit that I don't know what I was expecting...
