I just got this totally legit email (see below) from the International Monetary Fund. They're going to send me an ATM card so I can withdraw all the monies! I mean, there's no reason to be suspicious that the Admin Chairman for the International Reconciliation and Logistics Vaults for the International Monetary Fund would have a Yahoo email account, is there? Is there?

I love that this is seemingly tailored to previous scam victims. Also, dafuq is a logistics vault?

I noticed that too. Clearly the Logistics Vault is where they keep all the international monies. I wonder how much they're going to charge me to send an ATM card? It can't be that much. Maybe I should email them my SSN just to make sure I get it.

He must have gotten an ATM card too. Just look at all the monies he's got!

Also, how is one issued someone else's Code of Conduct? And how is it a number? Further and, why did a conference on stability produce a decision having to do with funds?
Quite a lot of criminality to kick against in this email, methinks. (Machine translated idioms FTW)

I think "code of conduct" is a mashed translation of PIN Code.

Or as the case may be, reference number. Still, one of the more amusing machine-translated idioms in the thing, as it got translated to something completely incongruous and nonsensical - another idiom that doesn't fit.

Seems legit.

More proof that machine translation still has a long way to go.
