That people here have dealt with, I mean. They're exactly the same price, appear to be the exact same Falcon floorboards, but I want to make sure I'm not discounting any possibilities. I've heard better things about Mac's than DC, so far.

Call them and ask who the manufacturer is. The parts can look the same but might be made of a different gauge steel.

http://www.greensalescompany.com/ they're near me and very helpful with NOS parts, but kinda pricey.

That's what I'd heard - in some cases Mac's tends to be better steel/better fit. That was some time ago, though, and the price at Mac's (which was lower) has since gone up, making it less of a no-brainer.

Is Goodmark still in business? I can't remember if they did ford parts but the metal was really good on the 72 Chevy pickup bed sides my grandfather bought when he was shortining a Lwb pickup into a swb

They may not be the ones making the parts though. Golden Legion, Dynacorn, and Goodmark make the GM stuff for all the retailers if I remember correctly. Mac's and Dearborn might sell the same product.

Goodmark is still around, prices are excellent, but they don't cover Falcon. It's quite likely the '64 Mustang ones would work to a degree, but they *are* different.

That sucks. I haven't kept up on the patch panel market. Last few cars we have flipped were super solid. The current project though needs a couple.

The Mustang ones have a very similar profile, and are actually longer, but they have that notch on the back edge that makes fitment weird (different subframe bracing, different tunnel end). I may just take a photo editor and line 'em up to see if they'll work, because Mustang pans are so cheap it's stupid and I'm not a huge enthusiast for getting everything original - being a custom after all.
