First off, I didn't realize my potato dumbphone could even upload to my computer, so I took a shot that a man walked in the middle off and said "good enough" and went home.

But this has to be the rarest car I've ever seen. If Wikipedia is to be believed, there's only about 250 of these still roaming around the world. So, I was a little surprised when it pulled up at an informal ice cream parlor show that's usually just a buch of corvettes and tri five chevys.

Funny thing is that nobody had a clue what it was. A buch of people mobbed the car, and came to the conclusion that it was some sort of Pantera. I knew what it was, and that they were uncommon, but had no clue it was that rare.

Oddly enough, it's also the first DeTomaso I've ever seen in person. Never been fortunate enough to stumble upon a Pantera

For me, Mangusta has always been where its at. I would take a Pantera, I guess...but In order it would be Mangusta, Longchamp, Vallelunga, Pantera

Damn that's nice! I figured every one of these left was in some big collection or museum. Definitely not something I'd think you'd find at a normal car show.

There's a Pantera around my neck of the woods that I've spotted a few times over the years.

Pro Tip: Take your shirttail and wipe off the camera lens before shooting. Then you won't get that haze on you pictures. Also, great catch.

I'd say the 250 number is pretty close, only 401 were ever produced.

I saw the one that belonged to the actor David Carradine at his house a few back before he passed away. You get a shot of it in the second Kill Bill movie. He had an ecclectic collection of cars that I think included a Lamborghini Espada.
