these seem a bit ridiculous. Not to mention I don't think I want to run any of these on my wrx.

hahaha, they charge 8x4=32$ for the "parts" required to balance the tires + 8$x4 for the "work" of balancing the tire, ridiculous... 64$ + tax just to balance 4 tires...

This is how a "computering balancing" is done.

Also, you better take a triple A service for the price of these "tire protection plans"... up to 80$ for what triple A does... meh...

WOAH, that TIRE DISPOSAL PLAN. What ever happened to dumping them off the freeway and lighting them on fire?

The RS-A tires aren't bad, but I'm not sure you'd see more than 30k, maybe 40k miles out of them. The other two tires are not ones I would put on my own car, to be brutally honest.

I was kind of surprised he gave me quotes on these and not some re97 and ones in that range

I got hankook v12's for 60 a piece for my 92x (225/45/17). Depending on what you want from your tires they're a great choice. Then find somewhere else to mount them.

I just looked on Tirerack and found some way better options around$400 and under.

Go TireRack or similar and shop around for the cheapest install.

Not sure what you're looking for, but check Costco if you have it available. Tire prices are very competitive, install is $15/wheel. Free tire rotations/flat repairs for the life of the tires, plus a pro-rata warranty should they wear out before their time. They have a rotating sale on Bridgestone/Michelin/something all the time. Even if you don't have a membership, the cost of tires + $50 membership is still worth the customer service.

Here's a link for a 2010 WRX Limited (I just made a guess). Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position All Seasons are currently $500/set plus install and tax. They also have Michelin Pilot Sports. http://tires2.costco.com/SearchResults.…

There are a lot of cheap places a little bit away that would probably be cheaper than tire rack after shipping and what not

50 bucks for the membership could be worth it. I think there is one 40 minutes away.

Yeah, it totally is. If you consider the cost of 6-8 tire rotations throughout the life of the tires, they wind up paying for themselves... Plus they have legit good tires.
