DO WANT! IMO, 1973 was the best year for the Trans Am. Two words: nose swap. Go buy a stupid cheap 1979-1981 car and swap the nose to whatever style you want. That's what I did.

Just the bumper cover and the metal backer thing (see pic). Everything is a direct bolt in.

Oh, but if you go 70-73 style nose, you would probably also want to get a matching hood. The older ones had cowl vents and probably a different body line and hole for the shaker.
