I don't usually post my own stuff but I just love this story and thought you guys would enjoy it. This kid (and friend of mine) fell in love with Alfas after he drove a '69 Duetto when he was 14.
His name is Drew and this 1973 Alfa Romeo GTV was bought by his father in 1991 and sold in 1996 just before Drew was born. The car went on to travel to Colorado and Alberta, where it sat in a barn (without windows!) for 17 years while peacocks nested in it.
The car found it's way home to Drew and he's working hard this summer to get it road-worthy again. Although he has a 90's GMC Yukon as a daily, the Alfa will be his first real car. This is really just the Cliff's Notes version and the whole story is pretty cool. I wrote the article so if you want to know anything about Drew or the car let me know!

Wow, for the car involved in a story like this to be, like, the PERFECT barn find with what looks like a pretty straight and clean body for something that sat for 17 years, makes this even cooler.

Pretty cool, huh? The engine has 20 miles on the rebuild from 17 years ago!
