Here is an edit of the NJPA Prelude meet i went to a couple months back. Its a short video since i know everyone's attention spans dwindle after 3 minutes. Just need some opinions on what i should do the next time.

Keep in mind, im using only a gopro. I should have used a tripod, and i need to get myself one of those sliders. Or a quadcopter...

I tried to use the techniques everyone uses in their car meet video edits. 1- Rap style music 2-short and sweet 3- slow and fast motion 4- short(ish) clips.

Don't you hav a DSLR? Why not use that for recording videos, I know some people do it. Plus the quality will be through the roof!

I do but the nikon i use only takes photos. I dont quite have the extra cash to buy a 6d or a 5d mk3 right now. Otherwise yeah, id use the dslr. DSLR's are the new cameras to use for professional cinematography tho so youre right.

Well, if you plan on making more videos, then it would well be worth the investment! Plus you get to upgrade your camera!

I know its a good investment... trust me, id get my moneys worth. My friend just got a 6d, and im going crazy over it. Its just hard to part with close to 2 grand for something like this. I mean i could buy 2 more motorcycles. or a drift car.. or a boat. Or build a turbo'd block for my prelude... Choices man, choices!

2k for a camera? Jezzzz, I am not willing to buy DSLR cause I tough 600 is a bit rough. I would stick with the go pro as well! You don't need super fancy equipment to start practicing!

Yeah man! And that mall is huge! Our group got lost trying to meet up with the others in that center.

I bet! There is like equally as much parking space as there is mall space.

And get this, when we all parked up in front of that section of the mall, the security guard on duty at the time was also a prelude owner, his face light up when he saw all the ludes. And it was also fun watching all the taller suvs and trucks hit those beams going into the parking lots. Many lol's to be had in that place.

Those wheels are very nice! You going away from the twin spoke 5 star pattern? 17's?18's? width? staggered?

And i have the cash too haha, but like you, we have priorities in other areas. Id look for an older 2008ish DSLR that has lenses that interchange with the current stuff (which is alot). So you can get a 300$ semi top of the line circa 08, which is plenty for photos. And id say the go pro is worth it. 300$ investment, so much possibilities. I finally got it mounted to my helmet so bike videos are coming.

I am going away from the 10 spoke/5 twin spoke pattern cause of price and reliability. They are popular BMW track day wheels, plus they are only 200 dollars more than Rotas, only 100 during Black Friday(hopefully). Check out Apex racing wheels! I am getting 17x9s like before, all around! I am very excited!

That was the plan before, I think I saw one online for 100 bucks, my friend sent me it. I almost pulled the trigger. I do want a GoPro though, great for recording autocrosses and asking for tips. Plus you can get awesome camera angles!!
