7k for one of the finest automobiles to come out of Germany in the 1990s. It is times like this I wish I was an adult with a real job so I could blow away my hard earned money on a sexy beauty like this. Instead I have to walk away grumbling about being a broke college student.

did it have the built in phone? I met a guy with two of these in mint condish and they had a huge brick celly in the center console. I've never looked into buying one for several reasons: firstly I too am poor and haven't had the honest chance, secondly I've heard they are pretty expensive to work on, I've heard the performance is pretty lackadaisical, and lastly my wife thinks they're fugly. She's wrong but I don't care that much to fight for buying one.

It did have the phone. I unfortunately would never buy one (maintenance cost.) But there is something to be said for the romantic GT nature of the car and the excellent styling.

I assume the V8 was also in the 7,6, and 5 so parts might be common.
