Oak Racing won their first race in North America at the Tudor United SportsCar Championship Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix, at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in their #42 Morgan-Nissan LMP2 machine.

Along those same lines, the Turner Motorsports Z4 was penalized a Stop +20 for a wheel nut rolling away. Another car got the same penalty for a tire rolling away.

I think it was the #45 Flying Lizards R8 that had the tire penalty.

I think you're right. Somebody needs to tell IMSA that a wheel nut rolling away is not the same as a tire rolling away and should not be penalized as such.

I don't think the wheel nut even came from the Z4. But the view we had of it rolling down the pit lane doesn't really give details to where it originated. IMSA's getting better with their calls, and it's a generic safety violation which is why they had the same penalty.
Regardless, it was cool to see the Viper win GTD. That was a deserved win after their fire at Sebring.
