Why, you ask?
EcoBoost and Blue Leather.

GMT800 Denali with Qudrasteer is coolest truck. Because LQ4, AWD, and bedside flares.

At first I thought this was a volvo badge.

It really does look like one.

Quadrasteer always seemed like a reliability nightmare in my eyes.

ecoboost? cool? It may have good numbers but it isn't a good sounding engine. Which is important to me.

But how cool is it to say your truck has TWIN TURBOS?
![]() 07/12/2014 at 19:39 |
|
Or a GMT880 with the L18 big block.
![]() 07/12/2014 at 19:39 |

If they were mated to a small block then sure.

I'm not too concerned about how the engine sounds when it's making 420 ft-lbs of torque at 2500 RPM.
![]() 07/12/2014 at 19:43 |

And poor fuel economy if you don't hypermile it.
![]() 07/12/2014 at 19:53 |

Not all that cool if your saying it to someone with a triple turbo diesel
![]() 07/12/2014 at 19:55 |

I was thinking more along the line of 1500 series trucks, but yeah.

At the flywheel. It is putting much less than that out at the wheels (take 60 off of both figures). It peaks at 2500 and drops off fast, so unlike an NA v8, you have decreasing power under acceleration. You know when you sort of need it.

Eh, whatever. I was thought the blue leather was most cool anyway.

That part is good though. I'll give you that.

Finally you are talking with some sense mister GM man. the Ford Limited is the coolest street Truck, coolest off road truck is the Raptor. And this is coming from a converted Mopar guy.
Break the family trend, buy a Ford and make your dad blow a gasket.

Oh god no. I'd get a Ram, but never a Ford.

NICE, another place where you wont be able to place your arm due to the hotness/coldness. Gear selector, same issue. And yes, it IS annoying, I experience it in my mothers Expedition in hot hot Mexican weather.

You don't know hot until you feel my wheel after it sits in the sun. Annoying, yes. But it goes away after a few minutes.

I feel you. Kind off.
![]() 07/12/2014 at 22:25 |

Hey, at least you HAVE an arm rest.
![]() 07/12/2014 at 22:33 |
|
Well. At least you HAVE RWD.
![]() 07/12/2014 at 22:35 |

Last I checked the Expedition was RWD/4-wheel drive, no?
![]() 07/13/2014 at 00:16 |

Yup, ours is RWD.

The people who buy trucks for what trucks are meant for don't care about the sound, they care about power and capability above all else. The F-150 EB does pretty well in that regard. I'd know because I own a '12 F-150 EB Platinum 4x4. I tow and haul often. The V6 sounds like I'd expect a TT-V6 to sound, like a muffled vacuum cleaner. Do I care, no. Most owners don't care, either.
