For once, not one going fast. I was in the small tourist town of Morrison, CO, yesterday. It's one of those with a little narrow street with small shops and parallel parking on either side, and a 25mph speed limit. I noticed across the street from the restaurant we were eating at, there was a mechanic's shop with a very nice Allante for sale out front. I walked across the marked "Yield to pedestrians" crosswalk without any problem, nosed around the Cadillac, and headed back over to have lunch. I walked up to the crosswalk, and even as I approached it the traffic in the opposite lane came to a stop, so I stepped off the curb. There was a lady in a dark 325xi sedan rolling slowly towards me, and instead of stopping for the stop sign, she proceeded to putter right on through at 20mph, maybe a foot away from me. She was so close to me, and going so slow, that I almost tried to close her gas tank, which had the little door open and the cap dangling off the side of the car.
"Clueless" might be the right word.
This is the crosswalk from the direction opposite where the 3-series came from. I was on the left at the "Carworks" garage. The restaurant is the blue building on the right. Just to help you paint the picture in your mind. I was not hard to see.
