I feel like the options list is actually kind of cheap compared to other manufactures *cough porsche cough*

You're right...even fully loaded you're only increasing the cost of the car by about %33...nowhere close to doubling it *cough porsche cough*

You have to pay $1800 to get the Convenience Package to get cruise control. On a TBW car. Where cruise control consists of a couple buttons, and probably one character changed in the programming of the car. $1800 for a couple buttons, because they bundle it with non-essentials. These are the things that baffle me.

As a software developer myself, I can tell you that adding cruise control would be than one character.

Semantics aside, I'm certain all the ECU's are identical, and they're just hooking up a couple of buttons to the wiring harness. If I got that package though, it would be for the rear parking assist.

Oh, I agree that there's a lot more to the cruise control programming itself than one character. What I mean is, I'm sure that the programming of the cars are the same (to save cost), and the computer just needs to be told that the buttons are there by changing a character from a false to a true.

I would think cc should be standard, and I'd want that package for the premium sound system, provided that it's noticeably better than the standard one.
