Note: The aircraft in the image above IS NOT the subject aircraft.
EDIT: Warshingtonian is the winner with a correct answer of F-102. The Delta Dagger was the first operational supersonic interceptor for the USAF, seeing limited action in Vietnam. It was eventually developed into the F-106 Delta Dart.
Until next time...
First to correctly identify the aircraft in question receives the satisfaction of a job well done.
Let the games begin!
Clue #1: This aircraft entered service with the USAF in the mid-1950s and went on to serve the USAF, Greece, and Turkey until the late 1970s.
Clue #2: The corporation that produced this aircraft also produced a speedy bomber that shares its name with a certain "gentlemen's" magazine.
Clue #3: The name of this aircraft is alliterative.

Mildly related to clue #2: There was once an airplane called the "Stitts Playboy"
sTITtS. Playboy. That is all.

Well it's a Convair (B-58 Hustler is your second clue)
And based on the year and name clue's, I do believe you are referring to the Convair F-102 Delta Dagger
Here's one in Greece colors

Convair, not Corvair.
They made a bunch of jets. I'm sad this one was a failure (Convair 990)
I'm also glad this one existed (Convair F2Y Sea Dart)

Convair made some weird aircraft. Examples: B-58 Hustler (the awesome kind of weird, mind you), F2Y Sea Dart (A jet flying boat fighter), and the 880.
