I can finally sleep!!!

This is the final version, this is why it looks lighter as I used a 4H pencil. Did I ever tell you how hard it is to make these wheels without a compass? Neways, I can't wait to finish it! It just looks so badass.

I can finally sleep!!!

I am the same way, sometimes I pull all nighters because I cant sleep knowing my drawing is in the state its in, and wheels are deceptively difficult. I have a lot of trouble with them too.

I had to cut the wheel in 6 pies at center. Then I had to redo it but offset. Then I did my line by estimating how it would go...time consuming and hard, but gives a beautiful result. Think I'm still cut to be a designer?

I just Eyeball all my drawings, I never use techniques. I use stencils for ellipses when I can though. You definitely have skill, but being a designer isnt all about skill its also about being able to follow guidelines. You are at a good point for starting design school though. I'm really not one to judge.

lets say u work for a design firm, you have to be able to design something that fits the client's criteria, in other words you have to able to work without 100% creative freedom

If you wanna find out, Give yourself an assignment and force yourself to stay within it. The more restrictive better, you know for a test of your abilities.
