Logitech G27. Do I need a seat? I'll be using this with a 360+converter unit and possibly my dad's gaming rig. My best friend lives across the street so I may use this with his copy of GT6 on his Ps3.
What do you all think? Anybody owned any of these before?

I've contemplated getting one, the price always scares me away though.

They're great wheels, although I personally prefer the G25 since it also has a sequential shifter. Very durable and reliable. Only thing not to like is the lack of any feel in the shifter.

Have you used the G27? I'm looking at it but the price is a little iffy. I'm wondering if it's worth the $210 for it.

You say you'll be using it with a 360 + converter? Please explain. I thought only the Madcatz, the Microsoft, and the Fanatec wheels worked on a 360. Is there a thing I can buy to make one of these work? If so, I'll have to get one as soon as I can. Fourza needs a wheel for sure. I can sometimes find wheels at Goodwill and thrift stores for cheap, but I've never bothered getting one since Fourza is the only racing game I really, really enjoy.

G wheels have great force feedback and they're very reliable. Pedals are decent but might need some maintenance every once in a while if the brakes start dragging.
A lot of people just get by with a table mount or homemade stand. As long as it's stable you it won't hinder your performance.

Oh how I yearn to get to use this one day. Or at least one of those snazzy Fanatec wheels.

I may have to get one of these and look for a wheel. Let us know how well it works. I'm concerned about full functionality and how it handles turning a wheel into 90 degrees of thumbstick movement for the console (if at all). Will the clutch work? I've gotta have 3 pedals, since I'm not so fortunate to be driving a stick in real life.

It's not a video game, but it's not a 40k+ sports car....*inception noises*
I may have it next week, and if I do, I shall.

I almost got the Porsche Carrera Fanatec wheel. I was about to get it and that day it was no longer available. I was so disappointed. It was going to be my first wheel with 3 pedals and stick. It was like 1/2 the price of this at the time.

they work great, use them for live for speed on pc don't know about console games with them. Shifter feel is a little weird but that's about it

Been using a G25 since 2008, works great on PC, and I wouldn't be surprised that the G27 works well.
I suggest you get something to hold the pedals. also a chair that doesn't move. I have a stand I bought for $200, it works, but has a bar in the middle.
