I restrained because it was work, but I REALLY wanted to start a mosh pit and just throw all those chairs around

If the Yaris were an autobot it'd turn into a giant mech Hello Kitty.

Looks about like most "car shows" around here. Generic later model "muscle car", Generic later model "muscle car", random older car, random later model "import".

Live cover band as in 'Throwing Copper', or live as in they are physically there, performing?

My job basically IS a car show. So having a car show is not something that happens.

ugh.
typical corporate ...shindig.. mediocre amount of money spent, less than stellar turnout, weak food selections, and... the band. oh dear gawd the band.
attendees walk around like lost sheep with polite smiles on their faces, some of them have "dressed down" but there's always a group of middle management types that show up in the usual "business casual" as if to tell everybody else they they are too busy and its a real inconvenience to take the time out of their important day for this type of activity. Everybody having short meaningless conversations with coworkers because usually one wouldn't give the people you work with the time of day if you met them on the street, much less want to talk to them about things that aren't work related and perhaps pertaining to their real lives which you really dont give a sh!t about.
not to mention uncomfortable speeches over BADLY set up audio gear, overly enthusiastic HR people, and raffles... oh jezuz h christo.. the fokking raffles.
And folding aluminum chars... set up in neat rows, on grass. uncomfortable, get HOT in the sun, and when you sit on them the skinny legs sink in the turf.

No, but a stock Ranger, Dodge 2500 P/U, and Chevy Silverado would.
