It looks like the Lancer Evolution is dead, for real this time. The current model will end its lifecycle in 2015 and according to the report below by Autoguide, Mitsubishi is not making another one. RIP Evo

GOSH DARN IT!! NO!! What car will I get when I inherit $50 million for no apparent reason? How will I take my daughter to school to school in red, awd style? What car will I use when I buy a plot of land simply to turn into a rally course so me and my oppo friends can have fun?
Well....at least I can get my second choice....a Impreza....

what happened? it seem like only 5 years ago mitsubishi had all sorts of interesting stuff.
EX: Eclipse,Evo, Lancer Ralliart Sportback, Galant Ralliart, Endeavor. and long before that we had the 3000GT,Galant VR4 and Starion.
Now all we have is Lancer,Lancer Ralliart(or is that going away too?),RVR,Outlander,Mirage and I-miev.
I honestly cannot grasp the fact that Mitsubishi disintegrated so quickly. Mitsubishi's used to be great value for what you got and had something to please just about everyone. now they have nothing to please no one.

I figure Mitsubishi itself will be dead in a few years, anyway. At least in the U.S. market.
