Am I the only one who still wants the GMC Granite concept to become a thing?
GMC needs a unique vehicle IMO, something more than a rebadged Chevy with maybe a bigger motor and better interior materials.
Isn't there supposed to be a GMC-only vehicle coming in the future? Maybe bring the global Trailblazer over?

I just don't see how it fits into their line up. Now slap a Caddi badge on it, and you go one sweet luxo mini van.
Edit: upon future research, I have found that I was wrong/

It's more or less a tiny little CUV built on the Gamma II platform (the one the Sonic uses). Seems like a small CUV is all GMC is missing from their lineup.

It -would- be nice to see something that isn't a Chevy carbon copy.

I would love to see this thing on GMC lots. They need an out of the box vehicle to keep them relevant. The Granite would be perfect.

I can't think of a single car they've ever made that hasn't had a Chevy twin.
Maybe the Terrain, but it shares it's interior with the Equinox.

From that one pic I though it was a big van. I decided to look into it more and found out I was very wrong.

They've seemed pretty irrelevant for a while, just there so Buick has some trucks and SUVs on their lots. I always wondered why they survived the restructuring. I guess they make/made enough money to stay relevant over Pontiac or Saturn.

It really does look big in that picture, taking a second look.
Then there's a picture like this that makes it look really small like it is.

People in Connecticut LOVE the Yukon Denali. I mean, honestly I do too but CT moms actually buy a lot of them. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason GMC is still around. You're welcome.

It's built on the Gamma II with the same 1.4T engine as the Sonic, but with a dual clutch 6-speed. It's a Sonic underneath, but everything you can see is all GMC.

I think thats better than the sonic then

I like it more than the Sonic for sure. It looks even more muscular and aggressive.

I don't know either. I would get it if there weren't any luxury trucks in the Chevy division, but they all have at least one trim that I'd on the GMC level.
