i drove one last week. INCREDIBLE. although i don't care for the lack of low end grunt.

And it seems like it's actually the best version of this car. A lot of reviewers think the V8 S has more power than the chassis can really handle

Really? Isn't the S supercharged? I thought it would have a ton of low end grunt.

It does. I had a video (which I deleted) of me driving one and just momentarily losing the rear end in, I think, 3rd gear. It was millimetres from a brick wall. Brown trousers moment

It's got a decent amount in the V6 S but for mega-grunt go for a V8

Oh crap! Glad you didn't hit the wall!!

It is. 336lb ft

Same here. It only kicked out about 12 inches but that was enough on the UK's teensy roads

the throttle response was slightly numb at the tip in. It felt empty for the first bit of pedal travel. While the car has a good bit more power than my N20 2.0T, my car seems to have a more sensitive, and responsive throttle.

That sounds scary, I can totally picture this. Have you driven a c7? Curious which is easier to control.

336 ft. lbs. on a car approaching 3600 pounds...eh. It's okay.

It's more torque than I have in my 3600+ lb M3 X-D

But even my stock '96 C4 does better while also weighing less. D:

Yeah the E9X M3 isn't a torque monster at all. More of a torque lizard :D
But the revs! They're pretty damn fun. They use up all your gas. But you're smiling the whole time

It's definitely the one I want :)
I'd like to make a lightweight one though. Get a V6S Coupe and strip out all the little electrical motors and the like, aiming for 1500kg but would be happy with 1600 :)
