A heavier, more expensive, slower Mustang. Still want.
In all seriousness this could work in a 4 door version. That's territory a Mustang could never go. Start at upper $30k, fully optioned at $60k. Boom.

Brew up some Cosmos, 'cause this looks like a Cougar!

So a new Cougar? Worked out well for Mercury...

I would call it the Cougar.

Make it an Estate. It could go toe to toe with the CTS V wagon

Four-door? No. I think there needs to be a a proper two-door Mark equivalent. Save the four-door for something a bit more than the Mustang.

Needs a different B pillar (to sever the "pedestrian" Mustang connection), but otherwise it looks good!

Not sure if sarcasm or not. I would never compare it to the LS, that was an expensive platform sharing disaster. Ford would have to try really hard to mess up a 4 door Lincstang.

The LS was a sales success, it just wasn't a great car. It goes to show how desperate people were for a sporty rear drive Lincoln is all.

They were actually selling for a loss IIRC. R&D was ridiculous for the DEW platform.

Idk with the range the current Mustang goes price wise, probably would never work. 90's were just a different time.

I like it. Make it a little shorter, ditch the fake white diffuser and you've got a pretty nice looking car.

I'm surprised how nice I think this looks.
Do you know what could make it even better? No B pillar. Bring back the hardtops!

I'd take this over a mustang any time. It looks so much better than the Mustang with its squinty little headlights.
