I liked the NSX regardless of the trans for that price; but I'd take the Cobra in the end.

Honestly, I would go with the NSX. It's an NSX for crying out loud and you should give zero fucks about what people on the internet said about the transmission.

For a Cobra 22k is crack pipe. And unless you add about another 2k in mods you're not going to be tracking anything. Unless you want to end up with a cracked diff housing and superheated coolant.
NSX wins over the Cobra in the case of stock track car.

For track it would be 2 runs down the 1/4 mile thats it.

I'd rather have a ZR-1 for that money.
Also, that NSX was nice. Don't even care about the auto.

Ohh...."track" in my head means road course. "Strip" is a 1/4 mile. Well just be careful on the launch and slamming 2nd and you'll be fine. Otherwise the same differential issues apply. Which ends up looking like this...
