Hey guys, I was gone for over a week.

I'm still alive (and my only injury is some sunburns). We visited family down in South Carolina for a whole week so I kind of disappeared.

LET'S CATCH UP!

I feel like I drove a lot of different vehicles in a week. So here's a list to prove the point lol.

2007 Mercury Milan

2008 Jeep Commander

2001 Dodge Durango

1992 Mercury Grand Marquis

2009 Chevy Silverado 1500

And I rode in (and let my 1.5 year old son "drive" instead of me lol) a 2009 23DR Stingray boat (Yeah Chevy Small Block I/O!)

I truly enjoy driving the Durango, it's what I learned to drive on and it's a cool truck. The Grand Marquis I spent the most time in and for being a 92 that car is still fucking awesome. Just a cool cruiser. Barely drove the Silverado, but it still counted lol. We own the Milan and Commander I drive them all the time.

Sun burn from a great round of Golf while down there (not the ride on the boat interestingly enough).

Oh, and we bought a new garage for the Montego which has a 4 bedroom house attached to it!!

Man it's been busy.

We did, and thank you! The garage is a tad smaller than I hoped for. BUT the Montego fits and it's attached for easy access Montego Tinkering.

the crazy part is the new house was built in 74, the current one in 2005.

It's a width issue really, there's no room past the garage door opening on the sides.

I think even at 5k its tough to sell as a NP for me. It's not the most desirable year AND it's 4 door. I like the original low miles, but he doesn't even call out the engine. He doesn't know what he has or it's value.

Look at this at 7000 in your area, it's an AWESOME car, I'd buy it in a heartbeat:

I traveled all over the whole effin' world in these last 20 years, with the exception of USA and central Africa. Other continents, I've touched 'em all. Now I'm not traveling anymore, but it's a blessing because of all places they were willing to send me to Iran (they were so insisting about it, till I told the HR that it was against my religion... lol!) and Saudi Arabia. I'm much more happy at my desk, with my Campari at 7PM at the mall, trust me. Also because now we have to fly cattle class, fuck 'em.

I don't have much interest in international travel.

There's so much awesome to see right here in the US, all kinds of climates. If there's an environment you want to see/live in - the US owns some of it.

It is close enough to me. They are in the South Valley and I am in Rio Rancho. All part of the same metro area. It is just that I really do not need to come home with something new right now.

Check our CL from time to time. I find some great stuff and most of it is preserved well.

My next project is to go to this boneyard about 30 miles away and take pics of the vehicles this guy has. Mostly trucks that date from the mid twenties and newer. Been by it a few times but never stopped. It would make a great post.

I just like finding muscle cars for people to spend their money on (instead of my own lol) think of me like a no where near as good Automatch Classics haha
