The LaFerrari already makes nearly 1000hp, but for one owner nearly wasn't good enough, so one owner made some more.
This now makes 1035hp, just for the lulz. Is it noticeable? Who knows. Who cares. 1035hp LaFalalalalala. Your move, 918 and P1.

but really..why....you can barely stretch its legs at 987hp..whats a extra 48 for?? bragging rights??? seriously this of all things is a waste. More wasteful then doing a leapord skin wrap or even a solid diamond steering wheel. Those at least have some sort of aesthetic logic - a extra 50hp on a car you cant max out anyway is truly a useless mod.

For anyone who can afford a LaFerrari the question isn't Why? It's why the fuck not? They have boat loads of cash... and when their other wealthy buddies (who also had to have a number of other expensive Ferrari's in their collection to begin with in order to be allowed to buy a LaFerrari) get their LaFerraris this guy wants to be able to walk away from them during highway pulls on the Gumball/Gold Rush/other L4P rallies. Don't sweat it.

can he even walk away from his buddies with a extra 48 hp?? my point is regardless of why he says he wants it, he will truly never get to use it.. I can understand buying a 200 million dollar piece of art to show your friends - sure, but if i buy the art and can never show it..its worthless. If i buy a laferrari - awesome, but whats the extra 48hp for if i can never use them.

Well if that's your argument... at what point does a car have more power than the driver will be able to "truly use"? Are all cars with more power than that "useless" in your opinion? How about all those guys with 1500+hp twin turbo Gallardos and GT-Rs doing 1/2 mile and 1 mile land speed racing events?

gallardos and GTRs dont start with 1k hp out of the box..this car does. Most cars have more power then drivers can handle - this is mostly true with supercars and up. I think you may misunderstand my point
I am not saying that 1k hp cars are usless - they have their uses - drag events and racing short distances - if thats your thing then great (full disclosure - this is my events of choice - straight line speed). What im saying is when i buy a 950 hp car, its plenty fast, and already too much for 99.99999% of drivers/owners - so when i add another 48hp to that or whatever the figure is - that upgrade itself is whats useless - not the end package. Just the point of adding 50hp to a car i couldnt max out to begin with - that seems wasteful. He wont ever take it to red line, and when it was unmodded he wouldnt of either - so this mod is a waste - all its good for is saying to his buddies - mine has more HP then yours
