I really like it, really fun in the snow
Awd 6 speed manual, and about the size of 90 civic hatchback.
I bought mine new in 2010 and I have almost 100 000 Kms
I never met a unhappy owner

I didn't know you had an SX-4. When I totaled my Ford Tempo I had an SX-4 as a rental. I thought it was an awesome little car, but I wasn't sure if that was just because I was coming from a Ford Tempo and the SX-4 was 16 (!) years newer or if it was good compared to it's contemporary's.

I even have oversized tires on my SX4, about 4 inches taller than originals(the biggest that fit without a lift kit). It's alot harder on gas with my big tires.
I plan to keep my SX4 as long as I can, but space is very limited in the trunk. I even got myself a roof cargo box for when I need to bring more things with me. Was your rental automatic, if it was a 2009 or older it was a 4 speed auto, if it was a 2010 and newer a CVT.
Did you total you tempo on purpose?

Yeah it was an Automatic. It had to be a 2009 or older model since this was June 2009.
I did not total my Ford Tempo on purpose, when I was speeding through an intersection an F150 turned left in front of me and I took out his front axle. The driver of the F150 didn't speak any english and I don't speak any french so I never knew why he turned like he did.
