Someone just got fired for putting a VW badge on the new A6. That is way too good looking of a car.

That's exactly what I thought too. After all those years as a budget A4, it finally graduated. Now we just need an R version with the Super 6.

Unfortunately, I don't think we're getting it. It's a europe only version. It kinda looks like a refreshed Phaeton. Maybe we'll get it as that, not the Passat.

I dunno. The size kind of looks to parallel ours more than the Euro version.

Well the current options are the 1.8T, 3.6 VR6, and 2.0 TDI. The VR6 has 280hp and gets to 60 right around 6 seconds. Not bad.

Toyota/Honda: "Uh... Yes?"
VW: "Ahh, I zee...."
Toyota/Honda: "and you is of makings this, right? *pulls out USDM Passat picture*"
VW: "haha, no! zee, ZIS *pulls this car out* is how we do Midsize Sedan!"

This is what I was basing my comment on: http://jalopnik.com/2015-volkswage… , along with rumors of VW bringing the Phaeton back to the US. The taillights even kinda look like the old Phaeton.
