I don't get that scene. Initial D is finished isn't it? Why do they show a GT 86 in the very last scene? I sorta hope this is a hint for a continuation of the plot.

It's probably just product placement. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Most stuff is left open just in case, but this just seems like a silly little nod.
