I wouldn't exactly call the Blitzen a misfit, at least in the sense I'm thinking of. While Porsche did some work for the Blitzen, it was primarily engineered, as well as manufactured and sold by Subaru.

It did feature the first use of sequential shifting on a Subaru product, thanks to Porsche's implementation of their tiptronic technology, which is interesting.

The SVX could be considered a misfit, however, it's still 100% Subaru. I'm glad that's the case, because I still want one, too.

The misfits I'm thinking of are those that were sold as Subarus but were built by other companies, as well as those that were built by Subaru, but sold by other companies.
