Can't find a place to rent with a garage that will fit the 225 inch long girth of the mighty Newport. Seems most Toronto garages were made to house a Mazda 3 and nothing more.
Pic is an old one of mine. Not related.

Why do you need a garage? :p

That's almost 19 feet. The average one car garage in America ain't fitting that either.

I had a long bed 66 pickup for a short while. Public Storage was the only place around that had a unit big enough to house it with outside ground floor access (10'x20') Not sure if you have one of those nearby.

In my early driving years in the late 70's a good friend had a red '67 Newport with a 383. It looked something like this.
The rest of us had Firebird's, Mustang's, and Chevelle's. We gave him a hard time about driving "Mom's car". When we went to the drive-in though we always had him drive. Massive trunk space in that Newport. I'm sure yours has as well.

225 inches was a fairly common length for full-sizes of the time.
The Electa 225 is called that because it is 225 inches long. My dad's Olds 98 is a similar length.
I'm kinda surprised you can't find a garage actually. I've been around these full-sizes all my life and I think they are a good size. These are normal; new cars are just small.
