It's a 383 2BBL. For fuel economy!

Just remember you have 383ci of cast iron and torque when you do the math, and that I have 3.0 liters of iron, aluminum, and weakness that gets on average 12 and as low as 2.

Don't know what car yours is in, but the 383 may have to work less hard to move the car around than the 3.0 would.
Not saying it'd get good gas mileage, but think if you put a motorcycle engine in a Camaro, it'd get shit mileage because it'd be under such heavy load all the time.

'95 4Runner, 3850lbs, 150hp@4900rpm, 180ft.lbs of torque that is a myth. All of that being pushed through a gearbox that I believe was engineered by the North Koreans, quality tested by the Russians, and manufactured by retirees from British Leyland.

OK, I'll bite. You've not even ran a full tank of fuel through the car in the month of ownership, and are already being interviewed about it?
